Blazers Season is in full swing!

So Blazers season is an amazing time for the female sports fans of Portland. I’d like to think that we are the most style-savvy of the NBA fan-bases, but maybe I’m just biased… Either way, you can’t deny that we get creative with our outfits, even when it might be pouring rain, blasting snow (maybe even this week!) or whatever else Portland throws at us. We are the master of layers.

 

Last Thursday was my first Blazers game of the season (at the actual Rose Garden of course) and walking in the pouring rain, but it was totally worth it! D got us amazing seats in the 100 level, and we had such a great time!

 

 

Not to mention I finally cashed in my Gap Groupon and found my new favorite Blazers sweater at 40% that afternoon!

The best part of that rainy, cold walk, is having Portland take your breathe away every time with how gorgeous our city is. I’m a very lucky girl.

I must say… it’s so nice to be home. I couldn’t have come home to better weather either, the perfect Portland Fall that I missed! I’m excited for more tights, boots, and slouchy sweaters.

The Blazers are back and so is fall…

 

I’m excited for the first game of the NBA season to kick off tonight for the Blazers at 7pm. I’m excited to have Blazers, Beavers, Chunky Sweaters and boots, all back in my life once again!

Pattern steals!

This weekend I had the pleasure of sneaking down to Forever 21 for costume hunting (have I told you all what I’m planning to be yet?). I did find the perfect fur vest, but it will need some slight adjustments.

Better yet however, I ran across their “tights bar” as I will call it. A whole little roundabout full of all kinds of prints, patterns, and even solid color tights and knee-highs. So fun!

This is a sweatshirt I have had for awhile (that I was given), but it didn’t fit (a size too big, so fit super boxy). So I set out to help it drape better, and by weakening the construction it helped a ton. I think in retrospect I would have gone one less on both top and bottom, so that you only saw the color pop, but as a whole, I liked the way it turned out!

85 degrees and rising

It’s back to 85 degrees today… I am ready for fall clothes! Portland, I already went through the rounds of grief mourning the short summer we had… and now you just come back into my life? It’s an emotional rollercoaster… and I’m too hot in my boots.

Since Pickles (surprise) decided to shred her other leash, and her collar was pretty beat up we sprung for a new set over the weekend, and might I say she looks dashing! Nice contrast piping leather from the new Martha Stewart line at PetsMart… lots of fun stuff!

It’s definitely Fall again, and with that comes hot apple cider from Starbucks, Leaves falling, and wearing lots of Orange and Black. Tomorrow is a big game, and as much as I have a hard time wearing “athletic apparel” outside of the gym (my friends know about this weird neurosis I have), I still love to support the Beavs with my orange and black Fridays before games!
